Overview
Yeoncha Calculator is built around a simple principle: your data stays on your device. The app does not require sign-up, and everything you enter is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.
TL;DR: No accounts, no cloud sync, no selling of data. Your leave history never leaves your device.
What We Process
The following information is handled entirely on your device for the calculation to work:
- Hire date / reference date: needed to compute accrued leave
- Work pattern / weekly hours: determines accrual rules
- Leave usage records: full-day, half-day, and hourly entries
- Monthly ordinary wage (optional): only when you use the unused-leave allowance feature
- Notification preferences: when and how to alert you about expiry
None of this is transmitted to a server we operate.
Local Storage
Data is stored in a local SQLite database inside the app. There is no cloud sync, no remote backup, and no cross-device transfer. Deleting the app removes all stored data permanently.
Third-Party Services
The app uses two services from Google Firebase, both processing only anonymous, non-identifying data:
- Firebase Crashlytics: collects anonymized crash diagnostics so we can fix stability bugs.
- Firebase Analytics: collects anonymized usage statistics (screen views, feature interactions). No personal identifiers are sent.
Notifications
Expiry reminders use iOS local notifications scheduled on your device. We do not send push messages from a remote server. You can grant or revoke notification permission anytime in iOS Settings → Yeoncha Calculator → Notifications.
Ads & In-App Purchases
Version 1 is fully free with no ads or in-app purchases. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and announce it inside the app before any change takes effect.
Children's Privacy
Yeoncha Calculator is not directed at children under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly process personal information from children.
Your Rights
Because all data lives on your device, you control it directly:
- Edit your profile values in Settings → My Leave Settings
- Edit or delete individual entries from the History or Calendar screens
- Uninstalling the app permanently erases all stored data
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves or to reflect legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated in-app and on this page.
